Donkey Tour

The start point of the excursion begins at 9:00 in a village Žrnovo – it is one of the oldest settlements existing on the Korčula Island. Firstly, visitors will have a chance to get acquainted with both donkeys and guides. Secondly, the visitors will be given instructions regarding how they should behave around the donkeys. After that it will be time to set out to a picturesque sea bay – Pavja Luka – where the guests will have an opportunity to go swimming or just to relax in the serene nature at this lovely bay. The journey to Pavja Luka consists of old forest roads and is approximately 4 kilometres long. Arrival at Pavja Luka is expected to be at around between 10:00-10:30. Lunch will take place in a local tavern placed nearby the sea coast (jendeta). After lunchtime the tour will end with a return to Žrnovo.

It is important to remember one rule – a maximum of two persons are allowed to ride one donkey. The journey is long enough for everyone to take turns on riding the donkeys.

It is mandatory to wear sportswear, footwear, hat and to have a bottle of water.
