Podstrana is a small town located 8 km from Split.  There are also a number of historical monuments in Podstrana, such as the library, which is located in Stará Podstrana and still functions today, was founded in 1912. It used to be the cradle of culture and entertainment. There are also remains of original ancient buildings.
This location offers nice pebble beaches with a slow entry into the sea.
