Amazing Stone House Mauro is a brand new house located in a tranquil place – in a small fishing village Jovići in the region of Zadar in northern Dalmatia. The villa features a beautiful panoramic view of the Velebit Mountains and the Adriatic Sea.
The villa displays a rustic-modern style. It can accommodate up to 6 guests. It has a bedroom with a double bed, two galleries for 2 people each, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, open living room with kitchen. In the living room there is a TV with several programs and a pull-out corner sofa. The kitchen is equipped with an integrated dishwasher and washing machine.
The outdoor of the villa features a private swimming pool with sun loungers, two covered pergola terraces with outdoor furniture, a terrace with a lounge corner where guests may relax and enjoy a gorgeous scenery of the Velebit Mountains and a unique sunset in the evenings. By the pool there is a shower at guests’ disposal. Guests may use a gas grill for cooking a tasty fish or meat (which can be bought freshly from the locals). A private parking lot is available.
There is a small wild beach situated approximately 900 metres far away from the house. However, if you are looking for more action, other beaches with restaurants, bars and water sports are reachable by car in 8 minutes.
Adrenaline lovers will enjoy bungee jumping from the Maslenica Bridge, parasailing, etc.
Gourmets may visit vineyards and wine cellars in the area whose fine wines were served at the recent inauguration of US President Biden. Private family farms offer all-round tours where you will taste local specialties.
For nature lovers, there are several national parks in the vicinity, such as the Starigrad Paklenica National Park, which is situated in the opposite direction to Jovići, the Krka National Park (1 hour drive away), the enchanting Plitvice Lakes (1,5 hour far away by car). On the river Zrmanja (approximately 30 min by car) you can enjoy the view of the Zrmanja canyon on a wonderful canoe tour, which became famous all over the world thanks to Karl May’s Winneto films. If you like to stroll along lovely narrow streets, the an ideal place is an old town of Zadar (approximately 25 min away by car).
For party-oriented people, the famous Zrće party takes place on the island of Pag (about 1 hour away).
